DIERKS Studios Academy

Learn from the best

What to expect:

from Dieters Desk:

Hey there!
I’m extremely excited to invite you to a truly special day at my Studios in Stommeln on Saturday, June 14, 2025. This isn’t just a workshop—it’s your backstage pass to vocal and rock‑history mastery in the place where legends were born.

Dino Jelusick, formerly of Whitesnake, will bring his signature power and grit to the stage. This is your chance to learn from someone who lived the golden age of hard rock firsthand.

Gabriela Gun known from Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Rock Meets Classic, will share her insights into vocal technique and stage presence. And here’s something truly inspiring: Gabriela single-handedly led the Czech Republic into the Eurovision Grand Final. That’s the level of excellence and experience you’ll be learning from.

Also joining us is Ken Tamplin, founder of the world-renowned Vocal Academy. I first met Ken here in the early ’80s, and it’s an honor to welcome him back to teach the same techniques that have shaped some of the greatest voices in rock.

Backing this incredible lineup is an all-star band:

  • Ken Mary on drums (Flotsam and Jetsam)

  • Joel Hoekstra on guitar (Whitesnake)

  • Tony Franklin on bass (The Firm, Blue Murder)

  • Marvin Leidheuser on keyboards

This is your backstage pass into the world of professional vocal and stage performance—an immersive, hands-on experience in a place where legends were born.

Tickets are limited, so secure yours now. Be part of the legacy, and take your own musical journey to the next level.

I look forward to seeing you in Stommeln.

Dierks Studios Academy

About Us

The owner of Dierks Studios Academy, Dieter Dierks, has produced more than 70 albums throughout his career that achieved gold or platinum status. Beyond his commercial success, the “creative tinkerer” is celebrated for his experimental studio work and his pioneering spirit in audio innovation.

In 2013, music journalist Christoph Wagner wrote:
„Both Dieter Dierks and Conny Plank made crucial contributions to the development of an independent German rock music. It was through their imagination and creativity that the new sounds were created, which gave German rock its own identity, while also using the studio as an artistic medium.“

The American music magazine Rolling Stone once called him “the best heavy metal producer in the world,” while Der Spiegel already named him “Germany’s leading rock producer” back in 1974.

Dierks is also the founder and owner of the music publishing company Breeze Music and the record label Venus Records. Since March 2013, the studios have been operating under the name Dierks Studios GmbH.

Our mission:
To inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of artists and producers – with masterclasses, mentoring, and real-world industry experience, right where music history was made.
